TA experience

Escaping from overwhelming final papers, I saw this picture that Peggy took for our group 3 a few weeks ago and feel satisfied. They were doing their final project about Taiwan Image in my own Mind. Their idea is really inspiring and interesting. I love to talking to them and offer them some advice. Knowing that they really need you and see you as important surpport then you feels so nice. This is not my first time as an undergrade students' TA, but m having a wonderful experience this semester with these cute group members. And I also learned a lot about how to arrange a whole class and the importance of being confident when as a teacher. Besides, team work is a worthy topic to practice with different kinds of people & professors.

Welcome 2009

Well, today is a perfect day to welcome 2009 with my dear classmates all together. We've face some challenges at the later part of 2008, so nice gathering to cheer for this semester we just spend for our better life.

I just finished the novel "Into the wild", which I eager to read it right after I saw the movie that is my favorite one in golden horse film festival this year, and so touched and moved at the encouraging story. It is indeed a tragedy. Everybody knows I don't like something negative or bad, but I think I got so many courages from this film. It told me to be brave and to not be hesitate to go for my own dream. Don't wait for one more second, do it right now! Besides, it's my luck when I went to sport b. this afternoon I have chance to listen to its soundtrack. So wonderful, absolutely.

Lots worthy to say. I enjoy and tresure our happy time and all moments we work hard together. We just can't be wiser and get better understanding without each others. And most important of all, we must learn to be more humble. In this whole world, lots of new things wait us to discover and figure it out. A beautiful future is just nearby, remembering just keep forward.

No excuses

Today I help kaiyan at her final, it's a extremely unexpected situation. But here I wanna just write down some words that Miss Wang and Jerry told today, I think it's really helpful for the attitude in doing research.

Jerry said that you must be responsible to yourself. The only one thing that he asks his family, students and coworkers is that you must have to concentrate in what you are doing right now. He points out some wrong typings in papers and remind one always has to be careful at every detail. What you care must show up at what you write or what you speak. Of course you have to face your reaearch very seriously, it's a academic place. We have rules to be followed, and surely seperate it from many personal suffering, however. He also mentioned his own experience in being a professors in college. No one cares your personal life and difficulties, everybody know what you've already done, that's quite simple. No more excuses, that's all what he wanna tells.

Miss. Wang, well, I wanna give her a big hug. Because today she encourage me a lots to fulfill what I really desire in my whole life. She said every choice is a struggle, you may spend so much time to make a single decision. The most important thing is that you must know what you really want. After listening to hundreds of suggestions, you will have a clear mind to choose from them. Go for it, she encourage me.

I love this story so much, it has touched my heart. Though we didn't come back until 1:30 am last night, somehow I think the story is better to taste at quiet night time.

How wonderful to be with Ann and these nice classmates at this special day! Last pic is my favorite one, Joanna is my new close friend. She and Ann really are my best company at the end of 2008. I'm so happy to be here in NTNU for my master, the beautiful lives this semester is something truly light up my life. At the Christmas moment, I also miss my Family so so much. I'm expecting going home next week celebrating the whole new year with my dearest Mommy, Daddy, and Chris. "Merry Christmas, CHEERS!!"

Beijing Visiting (II)

I wanna share some of Beijing photography I like so much. Summer Palace and Dior exhibition at 798 are my favorite part. But we just can't take photos inside of Dior's space. So here comes some pictures I took in Summer Palace :

Besides, Birdnest and National Centre for performing Arts are also amazing experiences for me. This two building impress me a lot!

798 is another wonderful place to stay. Though we didn't have so much time there, I enjoy seeing around. It's full of artistic atmosphere and surprises. For instance, the windows design of their art gift center is pretty nice.

The following is a picture in Beijing Capital International Airport, a new-build one this year. The lights on the top and its refecltion on the floor make it a beautiful picture. This is the very first thing to surprise me in Beijing. Another ones are the wall from a Beijing restaurant that Miss Lo took us to. And a birdcage in courtyard from Hutong, the sunset moment in Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Beijing Visiting (I)

It's really a wonderful experience these few days in Beijing. I met so many nice person and visited so many spots there. Well, Beijing is much more international as you can imagined. But at the same time, it still have some unique part that's impossible to be replaced. I wonder where to start writing this amazing trip...How about beginning with those nice people, that's the key factor to bring me such a unforgettable time.


Ann, my incredible professor, is the key person who give me such a worthy time. I really appreciate every moments in Beijing. If I don't meet Ann, I couldn't have this beautiful vacation in my life. Ann sees me as her own daughter and wanna help me to fulfill my ph.D in near future. It will be never enough just saying thanks to her. If somebody think I really made a good presentation in conference, I have to thanks Ann encourage me a lot to try for the first time. Joanna is my roommate these few days, it's really hard to describe how lucky I feel to be with her. She is nice, beautiful, intelligent, and most important of all, I can ask her questions and I never disappointed about her answers. She listened to me and encourage me a lot. She is sweet also to remind me wearing in "canadian way" in extremely cold Beijing. Yumann, always a "talktive" classmate for me from the very beginning of this Master semester, I like the final chatting on airplane to Taipei, she shared lots of her personal feeling to me. Guifang, cute freshman of China Central Academy of Fine Arts, picked us up at the airport. She is nice to take care of me in these few days. Just like a little girl, she wanna be with me all the time. The olympic key ring she gave me is just like treasure for me. I got her mail today, how unbelievabale!

Fang Yuan, a elegant girl of Master study in art education too, told me lots about Beijing city and help us to do some sightseeing. I like the way she talk, how to say...just a pretty women who is full of wisdom. Bernard Darras, perfect and prefessional scholar from Paris, is gentle, handsome and humerous. We travel together in the last two days and have a really good time. He tought me some French, and said I pronouce very well. Then He just told Ann to sent me to him. He asked me to go Paris for ph.D and promise to make me learn French fast. How nice he is! I can't forget his French cheek kissing on taxi before we went to the airport. "See you in Paris" He said.

Rose & Life

"Life's not all rosy", that is from The secret of Grain which weird film surprised Fiona and I a lot. This movie is kind of boring in daily conversation, including many details that we need not to know them all. Anyway, I will be aware of French film next time, that's my lesson.

Why speaking this sentence particularily? Honestly, I burt into tears during that movie. It's impossible but I have to admit that I really feel sad about my own stuff. So just at the uninteresting part, my mind skip out and think about my phone call with mom earlier. Then cry. I know I can't change something still and I also know I don't really imagine it works, but it's fucking hard to accept the reality at the very specific time. Life's not all rosy, sweety. Next time before you cry, just remind yourself first and then you probably will not need to cry over and over for hours at mid night.

Dear friends

I really wanna say thanks for your kindness. Care about how is it going in my whole new life. It's pretty wonderful as usual and it's going to be more sensitive and positive in my daily lives for many challenges. Well, I am not close this fantasy place because you guys but some unhappy reason. I miss you all too, so before restart here, first to thanks you all for your kindness, I really appreciate it! By the way, there are lots of brilliant movies in golden horse film festival this year, don't miss them too much.
